Hey, we're Jesús and Justine Calles (KAH-yehs).
Going on 10 years of marriage, a dozen years behind the lens, and endless camera gear later—welcome to Calles Collective! We’re the husband-and-wife duo on a mission to make sure getting your picture taken feels less like a chore and more like hanging out with good friends.
My love for photography started in middle school, but becoming a mother gave it a true purpose. Becoming a mom completely shifted the way I see the world. Raising my daughters showed me just how vital it is for women to take up space boldly and unapologetically. It also reminded me that life’s best chapters are rarely the perfectly polished ones. Calles Collective was born out of a desire to flip the script, represent the underrepresented, and build a space where real human connection comes first.
For us, photography is so much more than a pretty picture. It’s about feeling safe, valued, and celebrated for exactly who you are right now. Whether your season of life is currently messy, magical, or a hilarious mix of both, you deserve to be seen and loved in every phase.

First off, I just want to thank Justine for being able to make our session so comfortable and easy! She was so much fun to work with and our pictures turned out way better than I could have imagined! My daughter was a little shy and unsure of everyone when we got our pictures done (pandemic baby) but Justine was able to catch her personality perfectly through the lens! Once our session was done I couldn’t wait to see what she had captured! Our photos were back to us so quickly and the images were the best quality! I can’t wait to have our family pictures taken by her for years to come!

We want to say an enormous thank you for photographing our special day. We are SO grateful that we chose Justine and Jesus for our wedding photographers. Not only did our photos turn out amazing but they did a great job making us feel at ease and keeping us on task with my wishlist of shots. They had scoped out locations and lighting throughout the garden to really showcase our venue in each photo. J+J captured so many magical moments and paid attention to all of the details as well. Engagement Session + Wedding in Sultan, WA
Justine and Jesus are a DREAM to work with. My wife and I had our engagement photos done by them. We were both so nervous because we didn’t know what to expect and had never done anything like it before, but they were amazing at making us feel comfortable and they were SO fun. It was such a natural process and the results were wonderful. Being an LGBTQ+ couple, you never really know what to expect, but I felt like I had just gone to the river with my fiancé and two of the kindest strangers to hang out and we came out of it with flawless photos and two incredible friends. After such an amazing experience, we asked them to shoot our wedding as well. They communicated with us on our wants and needs for our big day and made us feel completely at ease. They were professional, fun, and put in the work to help us remember our day forever. We will use them for our photo needs forever!

Justine and Jesus did our wedding photos and it was an unbelievable experience. Not only did they help to stay on track with the photos I requested they kept a great time schedule (which for me was huge) and captured some of the most pure stunning and amazing photos I could have ever asked for. On top of everything else I received all my photos back WAY sooner then anticipated! I couldn’t have asked for a better team of photographers to capture my special day (well mine and my husband’s)!
